A new year means that I had to return to Hong Kong to continue my studies. I sit here freezing under several layers of clothing with my toes turning frigid despite thick socks and two heaters. I miss the comfort of sunshine on my face and sweat coating my skin. I miss home.
So here is my expression of home sickness. I did not think that I would post these, but here are some of my shots from a trip I’ve taken two years ago with my photography org, UP IRIS. I love them to bits and I miss our adventures. This photo set may feel disjointed because I only had three rolls of film to use that trip. I used REALA film and a Velvia for these shots. So without further ado, here is Vigan- bits of it that I’ve managed to record into memory. Enjoy:

Macopa. Haven’t had one of those in years. :)
Yes! I rarely do have Macopa and it was refreshing to see it at Vigan. It’s a fruit that helps me recall several fond memories. It reminds me of my family in Taiwan too. <3
Wow. I’ve never been to these places before but just the color and images themselves make me homesick as well. *_*
I think it’s the distinct Spanish filipino architecture :D And being in the beach, the sun… Vigan has a rustic quality that makes you clamor for home.
