I like this show. It feels like one of the last things I’d watch but I find it eerily fascinating to watch people troll swamps to catch alligators. They put up hooks along the growth of Cypress trees in the river and check on them the next day. When a gator gets hooked, it usually tries to struggle free by dragging the line into the tree roots. That sort of imagery really left an impression on me. I even drew something some time ago with a similar theme. It’s a cover for a friend’s story and part of it is a tiger trapped in a lotus patch. I’d probably redo it though.
I wanted to draw a gator but my notebook is pretty small. Here’s a fishy instead! And look! It has color! ♥
